  1. nice choice.......... is the nismo kitted ones for sale yet? or are they options?

I'm pretty sure the NISMO kit is available. I haven't seen a Z with it fitted other than in photographs - not sure I like it to be honest. The 19" wheels could have been a bit better looking. I'll reserve judgement though until (if) I see one in the flesh.

  2. It's doing good mate - 1000 miles in a week! (Well, we did go down to Alton Towers last week). Only 200 to go, before I can stop being gentle with her!

Going out for a drive this afternoon and will take the camera with me - will finally get some pictures up on 350zuk.com (and here, if anyone is interested :winky: ).

I just wish JAE wasn't quite so far away for me - I'd love to get to that event.

  3. I don't think the problem is BMW drivers in general, but more those who drive 330's and under. Generally I find 5 and 7 series drivers OK in the main, but those shade wearing, chewing, blue shirted white collar, greased hair, mobile phone speaking, a-hole 3 series drivers are a different kettle of fish.

I actually think that they play up to the image because they know it p*****s off other drivers. I sometimes wish I could flash a message to them saying:

"Little man, take your sh**ty little 318 pea-shooter exhaust and wrap it round your skinny 15" wheels you pratt - if I wanted, and I mean really wanted to, I'd be driving a 3 series, however, I consider myself to be a thinking man, so you see, I decided to use my brain when I selected this fine piece of perfection"

And then give him a piece of 6 cylinder exhaust roar! :D

  4. Yeah, I think the wired one would probably do - especially if it works when out of sight - I know a guy on 350zuk has put the receiver under the casing surrounding the rear strut brace.

Although since posting this thread this afternoon, I've been looking at the VDO Dayton MS5500 system and it looks the jangly bits esp with the optional extras such as TV tuner and DVD player, etc. No cheap though and I doubt that expense request would be signed off by Mrs A.

  5. Today was my last day with my best mate, the IS200. We've had a great few years together and I'll really miss her. It's now sinking in that I'm no longer a Lexus owner :crybaby: How will I cope?

Still, only a few weeks until Zed time! :D

Seriously, It's been a great couple of years on this forum and I intend to stick around - if I'm welcome anyway! :whistling: I've been away a lot recently so have been unable to surf LOC as much.

DJ signing off (as a Lex owner anyway).
