  1. The gold one looks more softer and not as nice to me :duh: The silver Y reg looks much nicer!!! not that I bias of course!!!
  2. I always wear a seat belt, I've never seen the problem with wearing one unlike some people (mainly boy racers) who think its "uncool" to wear one!! ;) Any way, if you don't wear one and have a little bump how are you going to sue for wip lash!!!! :D :D
  3. Finally, the voice of santity :D :D
  4. QUOTE(If you cause an accident then there is always a chance that someone else is going to get hurt. eg crashing while swerving round your mangled body when you get hit filtering on a motorway at speed. OK so being a motorbike the chances are that it'll just be you and my only hassle will be damage to my car and months of stress trying to get it repaired @ prove fault and claim off your insurance. My life's stressful enough without that kinda hassle though thanks. Same as if a car cause an accedient surely?[quote=I guess less risk than doing 90mph between lanes 2 and 3 on the motorway when the traffic is moving... 5. I agree with that and the biker like this morning is probably just an idiot but everyone is differnt, I'm not a dangerous bike rider but I'm not slow either, but I'm sure many would say that If i'm fast I must be dangerous....................
  6. So you're not driving in a lane, being a danger to yourself and others and adding to the stress of their drive so it's acceptable to do something dangerous - blind them with your full beam to let them know that your doing something dangerous - not being in a lane? How am I being a danger to any one else??? I am driving in a lane just can't decide which one! :P If you not moving in static traffic how can there be much risk? you can't change lanes as no one is moving the only risk is if you open up the door which your not allowed to do on a motor way!!! If you find high beem "blinding" in the mirror don't look so long at the lights, full beem goes on so it attracts the other drivers attention not to put you into a trance so you keep looking at it
  7. In all fairness I think it does have some thing todo with the fastest. If I don't go to the front of the que then I'm only going to have to over take the cars after so it is safer to go to the front :winky:
  8. Full beem on when filtering through static traffic I think is fine, all your doing is trying to make people more away that you are coming up the middle. When you are at normall speed and single dual carigeways then full beem isn't acceptable unless there is no traffic in both directions. Obviously 50cc bikes are going to have a slow getaway and the majority of them are only about 12 and don't have much road sense, but the giverment makes them rules!
  9. Right just to add my view, excuse me if I repeat any thing but I have only scanned the topics. Filtering between lanes is fine if your sensible. when I do it I have the full beam on and always assume a car is going to switch lanes at the last minute, but thats the risk you take going between traffic! Its the same as traffic lights, why wait for the que to go down when you can go to the front of the que with no problem. The people behind you don't have to wait any longer because your at the front. B) As for the biker punching your mirror ok its out of order but if you pulled out on him and caused him danger then I would probably do the same thing in the heat of the moment, obviously we've only heard your side (not that I'm sticking up for the bike :winky: )
  10. I like my car but I wouldn't buy another one, wouldn't want to spend another 10K etc for the same car
  11. Looks good to me! :winky: I prefer this colour!
  12. Hello all, After taking my newphew to football practice at the weekend he was wearing his new football boots on the way down there in the car. I've now realised that he must of started training early and now the glove box door is scratched to hell! Does anyone have one second hand that don't want that is in good condition or know how much they are? and is it an easy job to change the lock over from one door to the new door so I can lock it on the same key? Ta Ray
  13. I've only had 2 cars! :D G Reg Ford Sierra 2.0 Ghia Sapphire, so dangerous in the wet but great fun at the same time B) Now got the Y reg IS200 Sport :winky:
  14. Unlucky mate! :o What really anoyes me is the :tsktsk: idiots that hit a car that hard must know that they have done it and drive off!. Have a look round the car park and see if theres another car which a dent that matches up, and then hang them!!
  15. DB9! :D but since I can't afford one RX8 :winky:
  16. DOH, just read what you said! no, its the GSXR600 :)
  17. I actually went round to Mr Singh house last week to look at the car and it is very nice indeed! gave me a few idea's any way! :winky: Mr Singh fancy seeing you here! lol Ray
  18. Do you know where you can get the aero package. Looks nicer then the noemall lexus styling kit! Do you know the cost? Cheers mate Ray
  19. The prices are a bit high I agree! wanted one my self but I can't justify that sort of money. I know after looking in the gallery here of the other cars that there are many other good/better styling kits out there but I don't know of the names. I'm sure someone else will tell you! :)
  20. Heres the price for the kit from Lexus if your interested :) Front Skirt: £663.88 Side Skirt: £681.00 Rear Skirt: £321.00 18" Alloys £207.00 each All prices include VAT and Fitting.
  21. A sports grill is a must, suttle but makes the differnce :winky: Sorry to high jack here, but after looking around this site and seeing peoples cars I now have the bug to start doing things to my car. I want to start with an induction kit but I don't want one that makes loads of noise all the time. Ideally I want one so that when crusing they isn't much differnce but when you lag it the car sings to you!! B) Anyone know what one I should be looking at?? Thanks Ray
