  1. Terry can you clarify your comments please, after you have read the other replys that i have made...above If i may, the club is not about one person or people,,,how did it get to this state, loc should have been rep at theJAE.BUT BECAUSE none wan't to eat humble pie ,******s it up for every one .what i'm say ,is that member got the short end of the the stick and who cares ,people pumped £25 POUND AND WHAT DID THE GET,THEN i read if u don't like it **** off,,YES I'M **** ***** :tsktsk: Why should the people who run the forum be there ? Facts are that last year neither Steve or Mat were there for the weekend so what difference does it make that they weren't there this year ? Barrie & I were there and in fact I spoke to you when we came over to the OJC stand and said hello on Friday evening. Johnboy was due to be there but as previously stated sadly he was in hospital having a life saving operation. There is no humble pie to be eaten fact is the reason Dave Read was the only one on the stand is because everyone else who had originally put their names down pulled out and went with another club and others were caught on the way in and told to park on OJC as it was the Lexus Club or that there was nobody on LOC so park up with us. To be honest I'm actually wondering why exactly you are getting on your high horse when you were never coming on LOC anyway ;)

    Hi & Welcome Steve :D
  3. The sooner you pay the sooner you should get so when you're ready. I'll pm the paypal address over to you :D Any discounts through numbers ordered by the end of the GB will be refunded to you if you pay before the finish :winky:
  4. Do not believe they are available. I gave dimensions for the front calipers to Janey a while ago but have yet to see any in the LOC shop. The rear calipers have too small a surface area to apply decals. Yep Steve & I did look at them to hopefully get some made up but the rears are tiny and it just wasn't a big enough surface - it would be so small that you probably wouldn't even notice it. The problem with producing something that small but still readable is the cutting out as it would have to be pretty intricate ;) Is it going to happen then or shall i look elsewhere As per above, they are just too small for us to get made up so I'd suggest you have a hunt around & there maybe someone who can do them for you :)
  5. Hi & Welcome :D Personally I'd go for the TTE springs, usually 2nd hand ones only come up as whole kits (shocks & springs) though you may get lucky As for the lip spoiler, they don't look tacky as they are neat and not at all aeroplane like whether you go for the painted or unpainted all depends on your skills with a spray gun/can :winky: Though I'd watch the one from Taiwan as you may get stung with customs charges

  7. I'm sure they'll be with you as soon as they can get to you :) I know J is working very hard to get them done & hopefully there should be an updave very, very soon
  8. Exactly, they are nothing to do with Lexus Owners Club and are just ads from google - you'll find a lot of forums have exactly the same Any particular reason why LOC has them? I know that normally the free hosting sites have them as a way of earning some kind of revenue for providing free forums and disk space, but most "Paid" hosting forums I know do not use the google adds for the exact reason that has happened here. i.e. the perception that there is some kind of affiliation with the add or the service provided by the add. To be honest I have no idea, though Steve should be able to answer. Another site I moderate on generates ad's relating to whatever you are typing so in the 'lounge' it comes up with some very weird links at times
  9. Glad you had a nice day and a good result Tony :D

  11. Hi & welcome Martin :D Glad to hear you're happy, will be interesting to hear of your journey with the car as time goes on
  12. Hi & welcome Toney :D Best bet for pics is to have them hosted on somewhere like photobucket and then you can use the picture link (next door but one to the smiley drop down above)
  13. Last time I was in Sainsburys, they had so many sugar cubes they were actually selling them. And the really handy thing is, if you find you have a surplus of these silk screen removing cubes, they also double up as handy sweetening devices for your tea or coffee :P PMSL good advice Mr T :P
  14. & that is the reason the rest of us have to pay such bloody high insurance . ..... lets hope your friends insurance company reads this and prosecutes or even yours and when you try & have a claim they refuse it
  15. if sugar cubes are in short supply...how about getting a small square of wide woven cotton/linen & wrapping some loose sugar in it, tie/elastic band the top so it makes a little pouch/pad - should have a very similar effect :winky:
  16. There's quite a few guys with them & from what I can see you do need a 'mute' lead - do a search for 'parrot' and it will come up with lots of threads & info :)
  17. Yours should be out to you hopefully at the end of the week :winky:
  18. Its open, as per post #1 closing date is 18th September :)
  19. Welcome & congrats on your new car :D
  20. As far as I know statutory rights are statutory rights no matter what you are buying from a shop/company if something is wrong or not as described then you have the right to a refund/exchange at the sellers discretion but you are entitled to compensation of sorts Taken from Gov't Consumer site: Linky to website here maybe worth giving them a call just to be sure and if the dealer is breaking the law they can deal with it
  21. Hi & Welcome to LOC :D
  22. Just a quick update ..... John is currently in hospital (sadly spent his birthday yesterday there too ) being monitored & hopefully the docs will find out what's causing the problems
  23. Wow shiney !!!! Definitely worth the lost calories it looks great :D
