I believe Tony now has a number of 'WIM associated' centres in the country so possibly best to have a word with him to find out who is a 'trusted centre' :D
Hi David
No idea on price - though having a look around & searching for others for sale could help.
Your best bet for selling it would be I guess Pistonheads or you could go 'Gold' here :)
Hi & welcome Yvie :D
Best independent nearest to you is
Albin B Motors Ltd,
Unit 2b, Maybrey Works,
2, Worsley Bridge Road,
London
SE26 5AZ
They come highly recommended and have been used by quite a few of the guys :)
Carpets - you're best off vacuuming 1st that way you're not just moving dirt around while cleaning, if they come clean then great but if you do have dirt marks at some point & want the easy option then pop to the supermarket & pick up some 'vanish' carpet foam , it's quick & easy to use, though if you need to do one dirt spot you'll probably have to do the rest as even though the rest doesn't look dirty it will leave you with a clean spot
Sills/plastics etc - trouble with a lot of the sprays is that they tend to just make it shiny rather than actually clean the plastic, the only one I've tried & tested and it does all (clean & polish) is the meguiars interior quick detailer link here
Best bet is to use lint free (or microfibre) cloths otherwise you end up with annoying fluffy dust all over the place :winky:
Hi James
The best way really is similar to your sofa/carpets indoors, a mild carpet/upholstery cleaner will do the job if you get one which requires you to use the foam (after agitation)rather than soak everything with water so you get a dryer job and don't get a damp bum for weeks after :winky: . You could get specific upholstery cleaner from Halfrauds etc but basically it all does the same job B)
The plastic sills should clean ok with just warm water with a small amount of washing up liquid in it - for worse bits use neat, rinse off after & dry so you don't have any residue left.
:D
There's a guide in the knowledge base though I'm not quite sure where that is at the moment (new forum style is taking a bit of getting used to)I'll have a search & see what I can find for you :winky:
Maintenance/cleaning of the alcantara can be found here (you'll have to scroll down the pdf to the english (that's if your Italian isn't fluent :winky: )
Previously I've just used a small amount of gentle detergent (woolite clothes washing liquid)in a bucket of warm water & just wipe with a damp cloth/sponge and dry off, & on the leather bits you can use the same or a specific leather cleaner but be carefull not to get it on the 'suede'
Hopefully one of the guys will be along shortly to run you through removing the seats :D
Looks a good idea, people advertise their space/garage and you privately rent it. I know this happens a lot for regular football goers - house owners in the area who have a spare bit of drive space will rent it out on match days.
Other thing you could do is contact the local council & see if they have any garages for rent in the area - on average it works out about £15 p/w so definitely cheaper if you can get one.
Probably worth a trial rent for the sake of the scratches/bumps you're getting now :D
Not sure if any help but this place do a variety of covers :)
Though guessing if they are Lexus ones you're local parts dept should be able to get you one
