    https://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk Has many options to upgrade halogen bulbs with LED ones. Myself have replaced the front analog turn lights with LED ones in my UX250. And before had upgraded with LED all the "analog" bulbs in my Volvo V40. Take a look at their website.

    A message pops up in the multifunction display on the left saying that the key fob battery is low. I always carry a new battery with me (just in case), and when i get back home at the end of the day i turn the key fob in sleeping mode (press the lock button and press twice the open button, the red led will blink 4 times to confirm). This saves the battery since the key fob is continuously searching for the car lock radio signal.

    Can you turn on air conditioning in ACC mode? I didn't think so.

    With full hybrid cars the 12 v battery is not loaded by AC, lights, audio, etc. The power is furnished totally by the hybrid system battery. The 12 v battery has the only purpose of starting the hybrid system, and maintaining some accessory services when the car is parked (anti theft system, car locks). To test the 12 v battery in a full hybrid car you need a load tester.

    With full hybrid cars the ICE (internal combustion engine) undergoes a lot of start and stop cycles, thus degrading the oil much faster than traditional cars. 10000 miles/15000 km or 1 year (whichever comes first) is the correct interval for an oil and filter change.

    Yes, when i had winter tyres replaced by the summer ones i asked to mount the spare, and it fitted perfectly.

    That info is displayed in the multifunction display. You can change the info displayed using the up-down and left-right arrows on the left side of the steering wheel. I attach three screenshots from the manual.

    Are you sure the car has been updated with Android and Apple carplay?

    I use Apple CarPlay and all i have to do is to connect the phone with the cable to one of the USB ports inside the front arm rest.

    My 2019 UX (not Takumi) has Android auto and Apple CarPlay. Probably installed as upgrade by the dealer during a service.

    I bought mine used in december 2021, now its value has increased by 1500,00 €. If i was to sell today i would gain some.

    Read the manual at the section where there is a list of settings that can be personalized.

    1) This is normal. It usually happens either when the hybrid battery needs to be charged and also when the engine and coolant are cold. In this last case the high rev can last for few minutes, this brings the temperature of the engine and coolant at the best level and also heats the catalytic converter to the correct temperature and gets rid of the condensation built up in the exhaust system at low temperatures.

    Hello, from a review of the UX from a specialized car magazine the height is 32 centimeters. I attach a picture of the boot with the dimensions in centimeters. Hope this helps.

    I changed mine after two and a half years, and they were still in fair conditions. The rear wiper is still the original one after more than three years.

    I find that auto high beam works very well, either on straight and on winding roads. Actually the minimum speed is 40 km/h (25 m/h), below 30 km/h (19 m/h) the high beams are automatically turned off. I attach a screenshot of the manual regarding the auto high beams.

    That switch turns off the anti intrusion sensors of the inside of the car. If you press it to turn them off, a message will appear on the left side of the driver's display (the multifunction portion of the display). Just try it, turn it off then turn it on again.

    I don't use Auto because i feel it is too "aggressive", fan is always too high for me so the car gets too hot in winter and too cold in summer. I really prefer to set things manually, and this also saves a little bit of fuel.

    Others have issues with UX, and RX. Myself had issues with Volvo V40. But not with UX.

    Seems that others have issues letting the car decide on its own.

    To prevent this i don't use the auto function, decide myself the temperature, which vents i want air in, use recirculating function when i decide is needed. Plus i turn off air conditioner for the last 10-15 minutes of the trip (but keeping same temperature and fan settings), this way the humidity that has collected will drip off, and the air ducts and vents will dry. I did this with all cars i owned that had auto function (BMW, Volvo, Lexus).
