Well I've had my new IS for a week now so I suppose it was about time my due diligence in protecting it came to an end.
Whilst dropping my girlfriend off with some friends, they let their canine jump up to the passenger window. Yup, you guessed it, scratch marks on the passenger door.
They don't look too bad, but I know they are there. They look the kind you would expect from a run in with the local hedge - too many box vans round where I live.
Am new to LOC, and have had a look at the many posts ref maintenance of paintwork, and just want to be sure I know what I should be doing before I make matters worse.
It certainly doesn't justify considering re-sprays etc, so if I can get them out with a wash and a polish/wax then I'd like to try. I know this will shine up the rest of the car but are the chances good that it'll remove these marks?
Apart from that, having great fun with the new car, and thoroughly pleased with everything Lexus.
