    Goodbye

Goodbye and good luck with the Volvo 😀
  2. As said, arrange a test drive for both. For parking, I would prefer a smaller car as car parks are often quite tight. I often feel that the larger cars are more premium / luxurious. Depends on what you want. Good luck 😀
  3. I would really like a spare wheel or space saver (even if it does remain unused in the car!) however there is a growing list of cars that does not have the space for either 🙄 My masterplan is to buy a full sized wheel/tyre and store it in my garage (not ideal, but better than nothing) 😀
  4. This is my first hybrid and I am finding it very nice to drive but in some ways quite different from a petrol or diesel car. I'm finding "a Lexus" quite relaxing to drive 😀
  5. I wonder if the lack of "engine roar" makes the NX appear "not as fast". To be honest, I am not a fan of noisy cars. They do sound impressive for about 10 seconds but after that I would find them annoying. Much better with the refined NX 😀😀
  6. I haven't really tried a quick 0 to 60 yet but electric cars are generally very rapid as no gear changes are required. Something else to try 😀
  7. I don't know the answer, but similar journey times for me (Lexus / Toyota) so I will be interested in the replies.
  8. My few overtakes have been fine and possibly it just "feels slow". I will have to experiment with the custom settings. There are so many settings 🙄. There must be one for "feels very fast" 😅😅.
  9. It did appear that Sport mode didn't make a lot of difference so that would make sense. You could be right with " a hybrid might 'feel' slower than it actually is". The NX is certainly not a slow car. Thanks 😀
  10. I know most owners are more concerned about eco driving and range on battery power, but.... The NX has 300hp apparently, so it should feel "fast". Even in Sport + mode (briefly for an overtake) it doesn't feel particularly fast. In the past, in an Audi with slightly less power, when wanting to overtake quickly I would go into sport mode, overtake and then back in eco mode. This is my first hybrid car. What is the best way of telling the hybrid system that you want to go fast??
  11. I received the same response from my dealer however Lexus UK said that locking wheel nuts (or bolts) WILL be supplied eventually. I know what you mean about being too worn out 🙄🙄
  12. I did hear from my dealer that "the keys are coming a bit quicker". We should get a letter from Lexus - (hopefully soon 😀)
  13. Yes - Happy New Year to you all 🍺🍺🍺
  14. Another good point. I have enough of a problem parking a brand new Lexus anywhere 🙄
  15. If I win the lottery I would probably buy a red Ferrari 😀😀
  16. I think that the "average owner on here could afford to buy a Ferrari (maybe not brand new) but would you be happy to pay £5,000 for a service?? Not sure what price tyres would be but between £500 and £1,000 per tyre might not be too far off, so would you be happy with that too?? Not forgetting about MPG 🙈
  17. I would really like to have a spare wheel but unfortunately very few new cars now even offer a spare wheel. Punctures are normally very rare and have breakdown cover as a backup.
  18. Yes, Merry Christmas and all the best to you all 😀😀 🎅🎅🎅
  19. At least Lexus have ordered the parts. Hope you weren't wanting your car before then.
  20. I did wonder about this. I suppose only one key at a time in the car. Putting one key "to sleep" would probably work.
  21. I think this is a nightmare that all of us (with only one key) might face. Hopefully Lexus sort things for you quickly.
  22. Everything does seem tough / difficult just now - ever since covid 🙄🙄🙄
