    I'm not so bothered about a service book as you do get a receipt / record of the work carried out. I do quite like having an owners manual - especially as "modern" cars can be quite complicated.

    My last car had perforated leather seats and I know what you mean. I even filled some of the holes with leather cleaner once 🙈 I was quite careful in the car to prevent as much "debris" as possible ie. no eating in the car. Might not be possible for everyone.

    I checked the website too - which has never even shown my order. It too has now been updated as above 😀 Lexus has been busy 😀

    I have been checking my app daily (with no progress 🙄) However.... just checked it just now Build in progress and left the factory both now ticked 😀😀

    Locking yourself out of the car is very annoying so hopefully quite difficult with the NX 😀

    Like you, I would not be happy with Lexus if there were indeed "special orders" that skip the normal waiting time. I ordered just before you I think, but am still unsure about build / delivery.☹️☹️

    Hopefully the "UWB (ultra wide band) key security features" is a good thing 😀 It sounds good and I am not too bothered about a card key anyway 😀

    I hope you are correct however.... There are people on here (myself included) who have waited 12 to 18 months for delivery so it does seem quite strange that delivery has now been reduced to 4 months.

    Assuming that the petrol smell goes away it should be fine. Could it even be petrol/oil off their boots that is on your car mat??
