I think it is an obvious problem especially for older cars. Bulbs were 50p upwards whereas LED light units are £150 upwards and headlights can be thousands 🙈🙈
I think the range is calculated from your current driving style.
If you are driving on the motorway your range could be very good.
If you are driving slowly around a garage or not moving at all your range is poor.
Probably easy to "lose" 60 miles.
Although I only 🙄 had to wait for 12 months, I know what you mean.
It should be "special" buying a brand new car but not sure I would want to do it again 🙈🙈
There are so many "things" under the bonnet other than the engine so it could be one of these "things" making a normal noise.
When parked up you could try starting the engine and open the bonnet and try to locate the noise.
As I said, it is probably a "normal" noise.
I would give it a good check over inside and out. It has fairly low mileage so should be in good condition.
I would try to get a price reduction or good trade in price (which is not always easy 🙄)
Not sure what your requirements are, but a portable battery pack / power bank could be a cheaper option than trying to get charging ports installed.
Not ideal, but might work OK.
