If I get in my ES without my phone then it thinks I'm a Guest so I guess won't register any trips. I would think you need to add your wife as a second driver and use her phone to register the account on the multimedia screen.

Did a complete reset and kept getting the T&C's coming up. What you have to do to stop it is after agreeing you have go back to the screen and reconnect to your account again and then it will go away. Even though you have connected the first time to the account it has to be done again after agreeing the T&C's . Not seen if it records the trips yet as been nowhere. What a bloody nightmare this is. Never had this trouble with car apps before.

Not tried that. I will have to give it a go as I still see no trips since 14th Feb.

I think it lasts over the three year warranty. Probable charge after that.

Mine has not been showing any trips since Feb 14th. Not showing on their website either. They have really broken it this time. Why must these Lexus app geeks fiddle with something that was working.

Yes I did the update and now have the same. Complained to Lexus and they say the app team can't answer the phone as they have done an update and it clearly has buggered everything up.

Insurance for anything has always been a postcode lottery. Cars being the worst hit.

I tried using the + and gave up. Just use the standard Lexus Link which works fine for me.

Yes its very odd why there are two. The + has only had 1k downloads but the non + version has had 100k.

I am using the Lexus Link app not the Lexus Link +. There are two for some reason. I think you are using the wrong one. Try the Lexus Link not the + version. Mine is on an android phone.

I think you need to logon to the main Lexus website and activate some options. That's what I did. Not sure if you can do this on the app.

Had these fitted as standard on my new ES300 and the roar was awful. Terrible tyre. Had to remove them and fit Hankook noise reduction tyres which improved the overall cabin noise from tyres.

Just tried mine (MY23) and as long as you crank the volume up then the speakers work fine in the back. It is very forward speaker orientated by the look of it.

Had mine ceramic coated as getting to old to wax a big car. 😂 Just a quick wash with water only and job done.

You're right. It must be the ugliest car I have ever owned at the front but when I get in and drive it I forget that. Love driving it. Big grills,big wheels seem to be the order of the day. God know's why.

Wrong I'm afraid. First reason is I got sick of plugging in the 530e as it only did 25 miles on battery (summer only) not the claimed BMW figure of 37. Secondly I did not like the low driver seat postion. Thirdly I had it two and half years and the warranty runs out in Sept. I buy new but don't keep cars above three years. Finally the BMW attracted the addional premium road tax total of £565. This ES does not as it was below £40k. I only do 8K mileage per year as I have a E Class to split the mileage so the road tax made the BMW expensive to sit on a driveway. The ES was second choice to a Jag XF. There is an eight month wait for factory order for XF's. I was not prepared to wait that long. The ES was readily available and in the colour I wanted. I like big cars so the ES fitted that requirement. It certainly was not bought as it's unusual,uncommon or cheap. As for whether you think the interior or anything about is not as good as the BMW as I have told you before that is your opinion. I am quite happy with extra things it has that the BMW didn't including a sun roof and other safety features. The BMW attracts a certain type of person and that became evident as I always had other BMW drivers either wanting a race or demonstrate how fast they could overtake or go round aroundabout. Don't miss any of that. Don't get that with E Class drivers and not very likely with ES drivers as I have yet to see one. 🤣

Just demonstrates how people have a different perception of cars. My BMW I thought was common and nothing special. Due to their success they are everywhere. Whereas I feel the ES has a more executive style and certainly not common. 😉 I won't be going back to a BMW either.

I had exactly the same thoughts. Was I making a mistake by trading in my BMW 530e for a slower car. Took the plunge and purchased it from Lexus Cheltenham (friendly bunch) and not disappointed. I use it in Eco mode all the time but when I select Normal mode the battery kicks in and you fly by the slow movers. Same for the motorways. It will fly up to 90+ if you want to with ease. Something I wasn't sure it would do. I'm not likely to ever do 112 mph. Fuel consumption is amazing up against the BMW. When it's battery ran out the fuel consumption rocketed downwards. A trip out yesterday in the ES resulted in 69 mpg.

I have come to conclusion you have a problem somewhere as you rantings on here are not normal. You seem so desperate to be right about everything. I really can't be bothered to discuss anything with you. Carry on believing the rubbish you spout.

I've just checked, and the 530e is not exempt from the congestion charge. (I looked up a used example on the BMW Approved site, and put the reg number into the TfL website You're right the 530e is not exempt from the congestion charge and never has been. It is ULEZ free only. But remember Linas.P is an expert.
