    personally i prefer to drive with it off. at least if it starts going you then find it easier to control. you can very easily head the wrong way with it cutting in, as i found on m62 in snow. turn it off everytime i get in car.

    Right from what i gather is that the diff is pretty much the same housing...is this right? also does this make them fairly interchangeable? just would like to know a bit more as i have an s so i just thinking about things.

    personally i would go with merc. all my family drive mercs, never had a major problem with them out of all them they had. Would always recommend a merc, if wasnt a lexus.

    yeah even got running water up here too!, also a specialist in white mans magic! we're almost up to southern standards ;) except takes me 10 mins to get to work, can go out on town with £20 and come back with change, oh and traffic jam's what are they :P
