Rod, Not a problem, I've just looked up on Symantec (horrid link sorry) http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ghost...=&osv=&osv_lvl= for RAID information, I believe that with my RAID cards as I do not need drivers Ghost works perfectly fine. In you case they say it probably will work if you've got the driver for the RAID that you can build into the floppy boot sequence. Still open for a try if you want to, can't do any harm :)

I've got an adaptec 2400a running RAID-5, and an adaptec 1200a running RAID-1 in a different PC. I used to use the RAID built into a motherboard in RAID-0 and didn't have a problem using Ghost. I then decided that doing that was a really bad idea as if the board failed then nothing could read the RAID formating other than the identical chip which would be hard to ensure. So an add in card is guarenteed to be movable and so a little more reliable to me. If you want to try then no problem, just pm me you moblie number and we'll arrange a time/place to meet up.

I've got ghost 9. (Part of the 2005 suite.) I know it works for RAID-5 (got that on my main PC) and it worked for a RAID 1 creation, as in taking the image from one drive over to a RAID-1 setup. Unfortunately I've not got the kit to try and configure a RAID-0 setup and give it a try. As I notice you're in Northants, I actually will be in Northampton this Thursday I can bring a floppy with Ghost 9 and you can try it?

First ime the car was in the dealer for a wheel alignment got an RX300 for the day. No choice was just given it. It's back in on Monday for 2 alloys to be sorted out and I've got a car booked for me but no idea as to what it's going to be yet. Since it's the managers car I am getting for the day could be almost anything.

On page 30 of your owners handbook :) Manufacturer Tokai Rika Model RI-4ATY As for thatcham cat no idea. Since the information there is for immboliser / anti theft system could be for both. Also I doubt lexus would fit an non Cat 1 system (thats both imboliser and alarm, Cat 2 is imobiliser only) as a lot of manufactuers fit Cat 1 systems as standard now.

Well I believe it's under the steering wheel (at least on the IS300 it looks that way). Under the panel that your knees are if you look upwards you'll see a white plug with a black cap on it. As far as I know that's the diagnostic plugin point, only found mine as I I felt the cap brush against me as they'd left it off.

Missed this in the replies. Sounds like a good idea to me. Castle Marina would have been a good venue as well, but I take it you move them around the midlands a bit each time? Either way would be good to have a 'mini meet'.

In brief what's the issue you are having? So far I've not really had a problem, I am missing some paperwork and some isn't filled in correctly that I do have so got to get that sorted. Apart from that they've been fine with me so far. Quick question, I joined the club (as in went GOLD). I have access to the forums but no banner under my name, does that come in time? or have I missed something to setup somewhere?

Nope it's Antimony Quartz, also on a personal plate. However I was aorund on Derby Road last week. Most of the time further out of town, over towards Beeston. Tend to be driving around at weird hours as I work shifts, well weird in so far as not many people drive around at 05:30 :).

Yep, from Notts. So far good service, got a few little things to tidy up on then all sorted. As for the distance I've not been hanging around, but it is looking good. I guessed at getting 340-360 out of a tankfull and that is definately looking possible. Possibly the wrong place to ask, but is there get together based in the midlands coming up?

Well I've been lurking about for a couple of weeks or so now, and it's about time I jumped in and said hello. Picked up my IS300 just over a week ago. First ever drive in an auto as well. Enjoying it so far. I must say that I am impressed with the economy, I've used just over half a tank and done over 200 miles, and although I've yet to fill up to actually calculate it precisely it's looking good.
