having just read a post from some years ago by aido I have just ordered a set of HSD DualTech Coilovers for Lexus GS300/Toyota Aristo JZS161 will post pics as soon as they arrive/ fitted -
i am going to swap my coilovers for the same ones but these have lower springs. does anyone have a guide to do this? (think i have spring compressors.) the new springs are already on shocks so its swap for swap. also does anyone have a link to a good workshop manual? or a really good one that doesnt cost to much? thanks guys :D

Hi All, after 10 years I am guessing my shocks are not performing to their optimum. Looking at replacing/upgrading but for the same ;price I can get a full coilover set. Have been looking at Tein Basis (non adjustable) and BC. Does anyone have experience of either or both? This is my daily driver and wont be used on a track so I am looking for a better ride without my teeth falling out! thanks for your help

Looking to see if anyone has fitted any of the following: BC Coilovers Meister R Coilovers H&R Spings Eibach Springs I'm only wanting to get the car sitting a little lower and reduce body roll but I want to minimise any change in ride comfort. Any recommendations or personal experiences?

After i found alloys and rear bumper now i only need help with coilovers.I found this ones for a nice pryce and they are ajustable like other coilovers... but how much i can lowered the car with it?I can get this drop?(something like that.) : Here are the wheels i chose (Rota torque DRIFT white) :

I'm sure this has been covered before, but I cannot for the life of me find a definitive answer anywhere. Will the saloon coilovers fit the sportcross? Is it simply a case of ordering a different spring rate for the back? I've bought some JDM splitrims in 18s for the car, and will keep my L-Tuned OZ's for winter wheels, but I don't want the car to far in the air..... Cheers in advance..

lookin for 50mm springs or coilovers, anybody got any ideas where i can get them for decent price cheapest coilovers a can find are 800 and a dnt rly wanna pay tht coz i only paid 800 for the car.

Hi guys I am in process of ordering some bc br series coilovers. The standard spring rate is 10/6 but I see alot of people using 12/10 so was wondering which is best option I want it low but not slammed prob so tyres just tuck in arch running on 18's with 215/40 tyres. If anyone has these coilovers and can tell me what settings that have would be great. I do want them firm and not too soft a ride but I do use bumpy roads often so don't want to be rattled to death If 12\10 is going to feel solid. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jason.

Hi there, i wanted to lower my 220d, but wasnt sure how well it would work, i was looking at going about 40 to 50mm lower than stock height as its sitting on 18" and theres quite a bit of gap in the arches. I just wanted to know how badly this will affect the tyre wear and other things that could be of a disadvantage, im clearly aware that the ride will be much stiffer but apart from that. The coilovers that i was looking to buy were the BC BR coilovers if that helps Hope someone will be able to help me

looking at lowering my car but for the price of nearly £700 not fitted for the bc black and gold coilovers im tempted to just go all out and put my lex on air any one know any cheaper coilovers that are (RELIABLE) thanks .
