I need to remove the glass from the door mirror,I have got the mirror out of the pod but i don't know how to remove the wires on the back of it, the reason is the black plastic protection trim is looking Naff and needs sorting out.Maybe a new one or a gloss paint job. Can anyone help Please. :D

Thanks Chaps: I finally found a way to sort it out,after taking tha mirrors off,you can remove the platic guard by undoing the clips I gave them a sanding with 1500W&D a coat of grey primer 2 coats of black gloss paint and a coat of clear lacquer now they look brand new.
