Central Locking Problem

Hi everyone, I have a query regarding my central locking on IS200 (2008)

All the doors and the boot lock when pressing the key fob. On re-entering the vehicle only the drivers door and the boot unlock. The other three doors remain locked and have to be opened manually by flipping the lock lever on each door.

I recently had an overnight Battery flattening, but don't know why. Charging it overnight seems to have solved the problem and all the electrics are fine, apart from the door unlocking quirk.

Is there a re-setting sequence to return the "unlock all doors" default.

Any advice gratefully accepted.

Regards, Andyrut.

Hello and welcome to the LOC.

The door opening is programmed via the Lexus Personalised Settings which gives a choice of opening all the doors or just the driver's door when the button on the fob is pressed so this may have defaulted to the former when the Battery went flat.

Apparently if you press the door open button twice all doors should then open in its present mode.

Not entirely sure if the programme can be changed via the info screen in the car or it's a dealer only job.
