iPhone & Contact Pics

Has anyone found a way to get the pictures in your Iphone contacts to show on the dash screen when making/receiving calls?.

I've read somewhere that the Iphone isn't fully compatible with the phone system thus no contact pics being displayed but I'm surprised if that's the case being as the Iphone is probably the most used phone format out there.

(Thinking on, this probably explains no Appleplay or Mirrorlink* compatibility with the iPhone)

P.S. Pretty much all my contacts have perfect faces for radio (except the wife[emoji16]) so no contact pics on the screen isn't a biggie but I would of liked the option.

Any help would be much appreciated.

* Anyone out there use Mirrorlink?, is it any good?, do you use it for navigation?, if so how does this work if you're using nav and want to play music from the phone at the same time?

All these questions and so early in the morning , this bed wetting is really starting to impact my sleep now.
