Rx450h wing mirror lights

Hi

 

does anyone know which builds I'd need to change the yellow lights situated on the bottom of the wing mirrors, to clean white?

You would need W5W/T10/194 bulbs in cool white.

Getting to the bulb is fairly tricky. You'll have to move the mirror using the buttons all the way up. Then stick your finger underneath and give it a solid pull and the glass should come away. There'll be 4 screws behind the glass which needs removing. Remove the claws that hold the glass and then remove the cover.

Is it not accessible directly under the wing mirror?

 

if not I'll give it a miss and just go to waxing instead

No its not accessible from underneath. Its all sealed up underneath if you take a look. 

Its not a hard job to do, its just a bit of an effort to actually do it!
