Stealth Dash Cam recommendations.

The GPS is very handy for your own reference and most dash cam viewing software will show you the route and how fast you were going on a map as well as the video, but yes if you're paranoid about your insurance company using it against you then avoid the GPS (or at least don't send them the raw dash cam files!)

Any excuse to get out of a claim!

I just fitted an Aukey DR02D front and rear setup. I am powering it from an OBD cable with switchable power down times (5 Minutes or Battery voltage) so I can have parking protection simply by filming the whole time it may be parked, say 30 mins in a store.

Pro's for me:

No Battery (capacitor)
No GPS 🤫
2 year warranty
Takes a 128gb card

Cost about £100 + sd card + sticky tape

Con's

Thick link cable difficult to hide
Supplied with grey VHB tape, had to buy some black so less noticeable outside.

Here is a quick youtube vid but it does seem it's lost some quality in the conversions and editing. Looks much clearer before uploading.

I turned the sound off as didn't want to get a license violation for the music playing.
