RX400h Aircon Drain Pipe Location

Recommended Posts

I've got an RX400h and I think my air conditioning drain pipe might be blocked.

It doesn't get water dripping out underneath it when the air conditioning is running and even though I've changed the cabin filter, it smells a bit musty when I turn it on.

I've looked in the passenger footwell and tried to look in the engine bay but I can't see it anywhere.

I'd really appreciate your help, I'm not a mechanic but I can do some DIY things.

Thanks everyone

Did it get fixed?

Seems like air con weather is on the way...

I've just had our cars re-gassed - peace of mind and all that.

Bring on the rays ...!

Hi, thanks for the note

It didn't get fixed because I still can't find where the drain outlet is under the car.

I've had the rear lights re-sealed, the aircon re-gassed and the filters changed but it still isn't right.

The car huffs up badly as soon as it's colder outside and takes ages to de-mist.

Any ideas where the drain outlet is anyone?
