New owner of 2017 RCF

I would just like to introduce myself. After seeing a red metallic RCF at my local filling station which I couldn't take my eyes off I just had to check them out.

I've just sold my CL65 AMG on the basis that I was going to buy a concours Alfa Romeo Montreal. The deal went sour due to greed so I test drove the red RCF at Westovers and really liked it.

Having done a bit of research I discovered the 2017 models have AVS, being a self confessed gizmo freak I just had to have that along with the TVD.

Luckily for me on the Lexus approved site there was a red one with everything I wanted and a bit more for sale up in Newcastle so I bought it, it arrives Thursday

Thanks for the welcome, does anyone use Shell V-power in their cars? I'm guessing with the Atkinson cycle they don't suffer like some cars with carbon build-up.

It's not the atkinson cycle that does that (and it only runs it in certain situations) it's the dual direct/port injection that keeps valves clean.

My fave fuel is BP ultimate.

Thanks being new to these cars I guess there is a lot to learn. I like the servicing costs, my Cl65 had £2-3K service bills on the really big C services so the RCF seems in comparison as cheap as chips. Being Lexus Approved Used it has a years warranty and I believe the future costs are about £900 for two years that too seems ridiculously cheap.

@B1 RMA David for the type of car the running costs compared to the opposition are really rather good, the warranty costs blows them all out of the water.

Not that you will need it very often, when you’ve time get yourself over onto our own dedicated forum and have a read lots to discover from the posts 👍
