Accidentally ordered wrong bonnet latch for IS300h

Hi all,

I had the usual bonnet latch closure problem (bonnet would pop open at highway speeds, particularly during windy weather). I know cleaning the part is a temporary, perhaps permanent fix but I do long international trips frequently and want to be 100% sure it works reliably.

I ordered part 53510-53090 which is indeed the right part, except it is for RHD drive and my car is LHD. The correct part for LHD is 53510-53100.

This post is meant as a reference in case anyone else is looking for this part. Simultaneously if anyone needs the RHD latch (53510-53090), I now have one left over, so send me a PM 🙂
