Water in passenger side footwell

Recommended Posts

3 things to check

Scuttle panel where the wiper spindles come through, check for leaves and debris blocking the drain holes around the spindles which allows water to overflow into the air intakes.

Sunroof drains.

Heater matrix ( if there is a sweet coolant smell).

I've checked the sunroof, well the two drains at the front of the sunroof (1 in front left and the other in front right corner) and they seem to be clear.

I'll check the scuttle panel today

Possibly a changed windscreen 🤔

I got the car from my partners aunt and I have asked her if she had the windscreen replaced but she says she hadn't. She previously owned the car for 10 years I believe.

I have the same in my is220d

after running it without the aircon on the water stoops. So I believe it is probably the water drain from the aircon. I have yet to trace it back but if anyone has any advice it would be greatly recieved
