Telephone buttons

Hi guys, help required.

Has anyone had experience of working on the take call and end call buttons on the multiswich housing on the steering column?

These two buttons are missing on my car:

Can just the buttons be replaced? Is it more complicated than pushing them on? Can they be bought individually or is it a complete unit?

That's odd, I wonder why your car doesn't have them? It's a while since I took mine off but assuming the wiring is present, I think it would be best to fit as a complete unit. I will check back through the archives to see if I have any helpful pics.

Hi Neil

Thanks for the pictures.

The buttons are not there so it was probably rough treatment by a previous owner.

It looks like remove the two grub screws and the unit detaches and only needs unplugging.

Thanks, Anthony

I'm not certain but searched many images of the controls and they all appear to be the same. There are two separate parts to it I have a slow connection where I am at the moment.

Try searching images with this part number and you should get to see the steering wheel parts schematic.
