power loss to car

Recommended Posts

i have a 2010 rx 450h for some reason the car loses all power to door locks interior lights and the power boot will not open and there is a siren that sounds from the boot area like a second alarm .so i open the car with the slide out manual key as it will not respond to the fob hold the key to start button till green light comes on and start the car the horns sounds and indicators flash until i press unlock with fob and it stops the dash says  check auto headlight adjust and another warning light .i have checked Battery and it is fine fully charged but still car will not respond. i drive it to work park up lock it manually .drive home lock it manually as it still not responsive go out to it 2 hours later everything working again

it all works fine for a day or so then back to non responsive to key fob again even tho Battery fully charged is it a relay or a fuse stopping the power getting to the systems any help please would be appreciated

Have you tried changing the Battery in the key fob?

Have you looked for any OBD codes and if so, what are they?

I'll hazard a guess at the 12V Battery being faulty. It may show a good 'standing' voltage but as soon as you put a load on it the voltage may drop like a stone. I'd take it somewhere to be load tested and see what the result is.
