Hey all, I’m new on this forum but hopefully someone can help me.

My steering wheel has some slack (vertically) as I can move the wheel up and down without using the adjuster.
The adjuster works as it should but the slack is driving me mad.
I took the cowl off today and had a look but I couldn’t see anything obvious, everything seemed to be in order.
I’m totally stuck so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Ross

Hi Ross and welcome to the LOC.

For some reason I can’t see your video.

The tilt slider assembly is shown below, I would recheck it is fully secured.

Thanks for the diagram, I’ll check it all out again tomorrow but from that it was pn 45709 that was sliding up and down as it lifted and lowered the wheel.
is there a way it could have worked itself loose?
