Hi All 

My car is 2 years and 2 months old . The map version was outdated v2019 . I have map care plan valid till 2024 and the car is under 3 years old . I emailed Lexus support asking why my dealer did not update my map and this is the reply I got . Quite surprised at this reply or may be that’s how Lexus service is . 
 

“ It is entirely the Lexus Centre's prerogative whether to update a vehicle to the latest map version, you can certainly ask whether they are willing to update this on your behalf, but I must inform you that it is down to their discretion. 

Alternatively, you can update the navigation system yourself via our Lexus site, you will need a computer to download and extract the update file onto a USB. Thank you for contacting Lexus. “
