Hi does anyone on here have a part number for the electric motor for central locking in drivers door. Suspect mine has failed. All locks apart from drivers door operate from lock switch in drivers door. Plenty of U tube videos on how to do but no part numbers.

Just do a search on Google (or the search engine of your choice) for "LS430 actuator motor".
I found these pretty quickly

Lexus and Toyota use the same motor in most of the actuators for most of their vehicles from that era, which makes sense once you have a known good motor.
They do last really well but eventually wear out.

The trick I have found most useful for internet searches is to write out what I want to find, and then delete all the common words. 😁

I have the same problem, but found that on my 04 LS430, I can still use the key fob to lock/unlock the car by double pressing. I think the double press engages a dead lock additional security bolt.

Saves me from having to lean over from the passenger side or doing the long press that will open all windows and sun-roof.

From past experience on my previous 94 LS400 I know it is motor failure in the lock mechanism that causes the problem.

They are fitted with a small brushed motor and the brushes wear to the point they no longer firmly contact the commutator.

At the time I purchased a few motors from the usual sources and repaired one of my actuators successfully, removal is a bit of a faff and there’s a lot of grease to contend with but for the cost of a few £££s repair can be done.

When it comes to the LS430 there may be differences regarding the soft close doors but I would think the motor is similar and still the likely cause.
