Hi all! Glad to be here. My friend has is220d  2007 he's trying find immobilizer module had wiring diagrams from manufacturers. The car in million bits still not find it.the complete dash out the rear wheel arch .still not find it.had mechanic on it for over 40 hrs still no trace.please any help!

Welcome Stephanie,

According to the repair manual, the parts for the immobilizer are located here:

I believe what you are looking for is the Certification ECU.
