Apple play not working?

Hi all,

looking for some input / help.

ux250h premium sport edition with standard audio.

Applecar play worked originally, but now will not load. I have removed the car from car play on my phone , reset the phone, tried different port etc, still nothing? The phone is detected and shows up as a USB device for audio.

Any ideas how I fix?

Both the car and the phone are capable of playing up. On the phone, go settings general carplay and forget the device.  Reload it again as a new device by going into add new Bluetooth device on the car.

I did all that and even forget all personal information, nothing worked.

After many hours of messing about, I changed voice from Lexus online to apple car play. 
 

This seemed to activate Apply Car play and everything started working again!
