On my head up display (HUD) I have a steering wheel symbol with two hands on it. It changes in colour from white to green periodically for no apparent reason. The salesman told me it is a warning to keep my hands on the wheel, which it is not! Anyone any ideas?

The salesman is talking out of somewhere he shouldn't! When the symbol turns green means the lane assist has picked up a defined lane and is active, you should feel it giving some steering input to maintain lane control.

There is a warning for hands on the steering wheel but it appears as a message.
