Suspension reliability on facelifted LS600hL

 Share

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Does anyone know if the facelifted (2010 to 2012) Ls600hl models have had revised control arms,  suspension bushes. suspension design - changed from the pre-2010 models.

I remember reading somewhere the design has been changed but not sure.

Also has anyone had any issues with their suspension (facelift version)

Thank you.

Have a look at the video below, it shows updated arms with extra bracing. Around half way through the video is where the guy shows the differences iirc. It is for a LS460 but may apply to yours as well and there are 3 parts to it (this is part 3)

Forget that, I've just had a look at the parts diagram and it doesn't apply. Video is interesting for LS460 owners though.

I've just had the front lower control arms replace on my 2006 LS460 at 100K miles ( I believe these are the same arms on the LS600).  It took quite a bit of research to find the correct part numbers, but this is what I found.

Mine are these

https://lexuspartsdirect.co.uk/product/lexus-ls-phase-4-o-s-f-lower-rearward-suspension-arm/

https://lexuspartsdirect.co.uk/product/lexus-ls-phase-4-n-s-f-lower-rearward-suspension-arm/

After 2010 they are these;

https://lexuspartsdirect.co.uk/product/lexus-ls-phase-4-n-s-front-lower-arm-no-1/

https://lexuspartsdirect.co.uk/product/lexus-ls-phase-4-o-s-front-lower-arm-no-1/

So yes, the design was revised. I couldn't tell you if they're an improvement though!

OK great thank you. Besides these revised designs would be interested if anything else got changed
