Rear car noise at low speed? Lexus NX300h 2018

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone!

I have just bought my first Lexus (certified by Lexus), a 2018 NX 300h (after the restyling), I am very satisfied!

However, I have noticed the presence of some noises coming from the back of the car during low speed manoeuvres (say 0-45km/h).

I thought about a suspension problem or the rear electric motor but quickly realised that this was not the case.

We looked at the boot and removed all components that could move including panels and tools, and lubricated the pneumatic arms in the bonnet, but the noise persists.

Has anyone ever experienced this?

I read on other forums about a guy who had this problem and in his case it was a sunroof component moving slightly producing the sound.

Let me know, thank you!

I think you need to be more descriptive of the type of noise and where you think it's coming from to get any meaningful response eg is it a clunk, bang, creak, loud, quiet etc
