I use the Sprintbooster on the SC and the GS. It costs a lot more (around £150) but they do seem to be comparatively well made.

And yet strangely the Chinese one is £30. The "American" is £130.

Thats the difference buying direct from source or not and an item flying all around the world attracting shipping, local taxes and import duties in every destination it is sold through.

I think the ones from sc430 mods are all tested before he sells them and he probably sources them from a more reputable supplier , if your only paying £30 I wouldn't expect it to be that good, or to last very long .

To be honest the one I bought direct from China was identical. However I have bought a lot of mods from Calvin and appreciate all he does and am willing to support him in his business. What you can say if you buy things from him they will work and if they don’t he will refund you straight away. I think where his strength is to develop unique products and solutions for the SC community.  We are very lucky to have someone who is as enthusiastic about our cars as he is.
