Lexus Bournemouth

I am confused - I bought my UX in September from Lexus Poole, who closed down suddenly in November.  I was then told that Lexus Bournemouth had started up, run by Snows (the Toyota dealer) on their site in Bournemouth.  I had a less than satisfactory trip there in February to try and sort out issues with the blue screen on startup (it hadn't been set up properly originally), and found a 'service only' operation tucked away behind the Toyota dealership.  I now see that Lexus Bournemouth seems to have opened a sales outlet on the old Lexus Poole site.

Is this correct?  If so I may go there to sort out the new 'cannot load profile' problem.  Much easier for me to get to than the Snows site particularly with my satnav screen obscured by an error message.

Hello John, my nearest dealer is Snows Hedge End (who have been great) but you're right, Snows have taken over the previous Hendy Toyota and Lexus franchises. I understand there will be new side by side Toyota and Lexus showrooms in Yarrow Road in Tower Park, just along from the VW dealer, on the same side of the road. From the plans (on the council planning website), it looks very impressive. Not having visited the area for a while I'm not sure how construction is going or when they'll officially open but hope this helps.

This is very helpful.  My first service is due in September, so I'll be making a decision about where to take my car at that time.  My problem is that I am midway between Lexus Exeter and Lexus Hedge End, so Poole / Bournemouth would be my preferred location.  Fortunately a friend is having a UX serviced in Poole / Bournemouth in July so I can get feedback.

Probably Snows Toyota can do a basic service on a UX with no problem.  My difficulty has been knowing where to go or who to phone on simple queries, like the 'blue screen on startup' and the more recent 'profile cannot be synced'.  It has been great to get guidance on this from the Forum, but really what I have wanted is a knowledgeable salesman to phone.

Snows Toyota in Honiton were helpful when I needed the rear disc pads replaced on my IS250. But that is not a specialist job of course.

I have needed to phone Lexus Bournemouth recently but no matter how many messages I leave I never get a call back. Has anybody else had a similar experience?

There are now two sites shown for Lexus Bournemouth - the aftersales centre shared with Toyota  (where I went in February and was underwhelmed) plus the old Lexus Poole site in Poole for sales, although it also seems to have a workshop.  Suggest you check which one you contacted, and try the other one.

I am a distance from either, so would appreciate feedback / comments from anybody with recent experience of Lexus Bournemouth - either site.
