Michelle.. Could be quite a few Things that could cause this Yellow triangle which is only an advisory Warning.. Does this warning show up every time you start your vehicle Or is it intermitant...Have you checked your Fuel flap is Properly Closed ?

Could be  a Hot Spot in the Hybrid Battery ..Make sure the Vents at the side of the back seat are not Covered...Thus not Cooling the Battery Components .. if it Persists have the Dealership Run a Diagnostic Test through the OBD connector in your car to see what flags up...Hope that helps...

Thanks for this Prince Bob! You may have an excellent take on this - just checked the 12v and although the flow is 11.55v there is a small amount of clear liquid sitting in the tray underneath the battery…….. ?acid? No litmus paper to test! When we had the warning light come on 10 months ago the pipe at the top of the Battery was disconnected- anything to do with the liquid which has appeared?

11.55v indicates a suspect Battery, you may have a water leak causing the puddle.  The pipe is to vent hydrogen gas away from the interior of the car, I think it unlikely that acid would leak from here.
