Air Conditioning

i have spotted that beauty from Siemens whilst on my quest - would be stunning & peaceful BUT way out of my budget at the mo! mutter, mutter, lottery, mutter, bank job....

your Amcor jobby, would you say it was reasonably quiet? i know it's a bit hard to describe but anything for comparison? like the compressor when the fridge/freezer is running or something similar? please don't say anything like a vacuum cleaner tho eh?!

I don't think any of them are really quiet as air conditioners aren't very quiet on the whole anyway.....but I believe the Siemens' noise output is 45db and the Amcor is 49db so they're reasonably close

Obviously its not vacuum cleaner levels of noise, but it is noisy, if you were watching TV, you would need to turn up the volume a reasonable amount

I would recommend going down to a Comet store that has it on display and have a listen, its the best way to make your decision :)
