i just bought a es300. seller changed the front two tyres because the original ones have not enough tread depth. they put two second hand one on the wheel with well condition but the tyre width is 195 not the original size with width at 205.i just want to know will it affect the brake of the car or some serious things?thanks for your help!

You should stick with the recommended tyre size that the manufacturer recommends.

Also second hand tires are very dangerous and not really recommened and should be avoided like the plaige. The tires could have been involved in an accident on the original car they came from.

Just my 2 cents worth :)

thanks for your advice. i have looked the tyres carefully and found them with really good condition.

problem is just the width. i am afraid that will increase the brake distance, though it is just 1cm narrower.so i will try to ask them to change it.
