Hi there i need help i am thinking about buying a lexus is 200 sport,have been looking at them for a while,and want 2 know what kind of bhp can i get out of it with out spending a lot o money??????I dont want to go as far as putting a super charger on.I was also looking at the ford focus st 170 but it just has'ent got the lookes of the lexus.But the focus has 170 bhp as the lexus has onley 150 bhp as standard.As you can see I NEED HELP makeing up my mind.It would be very helpfull if some one can help. :) :P :P

Welcome to the world of Lexus.

If you dont wont to spend big bucks im afraid your limited if you looking to increase the bhp of the Lex.

One of the lads here went to 165ish with performance exhaust and induction kit.

What about NOS as an alternative for when you want the boost? Would be cheaper than the charger?

There's the ECU upgrades / replacements like the Unichip etc but may be a lot of money for not a lot of gain.

Problem with the 200 is that it costs a lot to get a little gain out of it :(

I'm sorry that comparsion is joke

We get people comparing 3 series vs A4 vs IS200 etc etc

but a Ford Focus even tho it is a ST170?

Decide what you want from a car mate?

Speed, unrealibilty, unexclusive, budget...

or Luxury, exclusiveness, realiabilty, big fuel bigs.....
