Just clocked up 10,000 miles on my rear tyres Hankook Ventus Sports.

Noticed today that they are down to wear indicators so time to get some new ones.

I will replace with same as they are fairly good for price at around £250/pair fitted and balanced.

Just thought I'd ask if anyone knew of any deals on with major suppliers at moment.

Always had mine done at quick fit and pirrelli's were £100 pound each last time, just done 10'000 miles on them as well and they are worn agout 40% if that.you must be heavy on the throttle .Are yours the big 10" or the standard ones like mine

Alas I have the standard sport wheels, sigh.

What Pirelli's do you have?

I may give them a try.

I use a small fitter who takes care and time and always does a superb job. He will source anything I ask him for. I know he has used Mytyres in the past.

Keith they are pirreli p zero's asimmetrico 245/40/18 ,just checked the receipt and i have done 11,000 miles on them and they have at least 10,000 miles left on them.they are from quick fit at chatham and cost £450 for four including balance etc .had to do some phoning to get that price and sort of played one place of against the other .

I use pirreli p zero's asimmetrico, and mine are at the TWI and I have covered about 10,000 Miles on them.

I would like to Run Goodyear F1's, But I am not sure if they are avalible in my size

Have taken the plunge and decided to go for Dunlop Sport 01's in favour of the Hancook's I have been using for the past 2 years.

I am told that the compound is much harder and I should get at least 20,000+ out of the rears even with my heavy right foot.

Do you find the Dunlops noisy? I have them on the front, and they are noisy even after 5k.

I have not tried them yet, will be getting them fitted this weekend.
