well im waiting till the new year, and more than likley aint gona be doing jack till nearer the summer...well i would like most of it completed in time for the summer so i cna have soem dry, warm fun.

@ chris... dont know what specs of any component wil be yet, gota do the research. wont be building two,, one is plenty to do first time..

ok well u can definately get a anti lock clutch kit for that, u will need it! so much engine braking on it. at least u dont have to worry about the rotary damper that reaked haboc on the origional bike! altho the TL 1000 engine had been re-newed and re invented in the SV1000, with digital fuel injection etc.

should be good fun tho. easier to mount etc as its narrower

so just brainstorming with my partner in this project, here are some items to consider.

• Frame

o General beefing up of

o Extending the rear half of for engine

o Fabricating engine mounts.

o Beef up the chain gaurd

• Electrics

o ECU

• Power Delivery

o Anti lock clutch for downshifts

o Quick shift for upshifts

o Motorbike lever for shifting neutral to drive.

• Heat

o Will we need a radiator

o Protection of the driver.

• Brakes

o Uprating

o Will we need two disks.

• Axles

o Bearings, are they man enough

o Will it handle the increased torque
