Hi Janet, welcome to LOC!

Is your car under warranty?

If so you're probably safer leaving it until the dealer get the car and let them sort out the dash as well as the alloys (they'll replace if the car is under warranty).

If the car is out of warranty, refurbed alloys which in my opinion are better than the new wheels are available from your Lexus dealer for around £85 each - not sure if that is including VAT to be honest.

As for the dash, the guy who knows the most about that around here would be Paul (Fargo) - I can't remember hearing of that problem on an IS before!

Good luck getting it sorted :)

BTW, whereabouts are you in Derbyshire?

thanks! I will have a chat with the dealer when I have some cash. In the meantime I have seen a refurb kit for the wheels at Halfords car accessory shop, I might try that but I do not expect miracles.

I live near a little town in Derbyshire called Melbourne by the way.

Thanks again.
