Is200 Turbo Vs. Renault Megane Sport

Recommended Posts

We were lucky to have the digicam in the car.

I have been out with my friend to set up the SAFC,

as we met a Renault Megane Sport powered by a

2.0L 16V Turbo engine with 224 Turbo-HP.

(You can see my "GOT RICE ?" sticker on the rear window. :D )

Look at this..... B) :whistling:

hehe

it is fun with the turbo it shocks the peaple when they see the lex shoot off    B)

but why was he in front off you on the last video :o

I stopped once to let him ahead and kill him from behind

He was always sticking on my ***** when we got slower, so I wanted to see how it is, when he is in front of us.

But then he seemed to loose lust for race, that's why we got slower in the 4th video. :winky:

Then we turned and drove back home.

But it was nice to kill him.

weldone mate it did look like it was pulling well against the renault

has your fuelling solved your problems

what boost you at and is it holding

cheers

daz

Hmm... the fuel system works well at boost, but not at idle.

The FPR has too less pressure, I will get another one adjustable.

But at boost it pulls much better than before. :winky:

Hmm.... I set 0.5-0.6bar of boost, but it varies very often.

Sometimes I only get 0.4 bar, sometimes 0.5.

Maybe it depends on the warmer air now.

In winter it worked better.

I set the duty cycle higher on the BC so it helped a bit.

It's also possible that without heavy load (hills or many people in the car) that it gets too less load.

It revs quicker than it can hold the pressure in the manifold.

When the VVTi kicks in.... you can see the boost needle falling down a bit.

I will work on this.... maybe the compressor wheel is too smal to feed the engine with enough air.
