The problems used to only last for about 5 minutes in the cold mornings, but after a few months the lights were more off than on. When the display comes back on the needles flash first and come on, after a few seconds the clock displays flash and come on, at the same time the fuel gauge bursts into life. All this time the speedo, rev counter and temp control are working but can't be seen. As well as all of this, when you are driving in the dark and the lights are off all the control panel lights eg heater, radio, fog lights and gear position lights aren't on, these will flash and come on at the same time as the needles (shortly before the clocks come on).

I found a chap on AOL (APTGPE) who also had this problem and has found a cheaper fix than lexus
