Chroming Stock Sc430 Alloys

Howdy All

Had my alloys refurbed last year but looking a bit grim again.

Thinking of getting them polished / chromed / galvanised and then clear lacquer to keep the shine from dulling and the wheels from pitting.

Does the galvanising give it a chrome/ shiny finish and can the wheels be dipped.

What do you think?????????????

galvanising is for steel

will give a dull grey finish, not particuly nice to the eye

chroming will be very expensive

so i would look at the polishing option

alloy wheels are normally only spray painted in a silver colour

a properly polished alloy would need lots of lacquer to stop corrosion
