Window Tints

I want to get the rear windows tinted for the is200.

Is 35% tint similar to the sport windows ? and could anyone recomend someone in the Darlington or Teeside area (or is there anywhere i should avoid)

What should be the rough cost of the 2 rear sides and the back window just so i don't get ripped off

An etra tint of 35% is about the same as the standard tint of the sports model. More than that makes it too much gangsta-looking imho, but some seem to like that. A professional shop would charge you about 200 pounds total for rear window, rear door windows plus rear door inserts.

Be sure to warn them of the rear window (hard to get clean enough around the heater-strips, you may need a new rear window for immaculate result) , and best done without the backseat and rear shelf (still a ***@ of a job).

The rears and back of the sport are very close to 35% tint.

I had mine (fronts) done just recently at TINTR with a 50% tint for £60. It's there to see in "my garage"

First class job it was!

i'd say budget for £240 tops... if its more expensive then that, then you're probably getting ripped off.

I paid £240 to have all mine done with 35% at " G-Force in Middlesbrough (Linthorpe road). It took them about 3 hours.

There's another place in Darlington but i'm not sure what it's called. It's opposite the turning for B&Q, on the main road. If you pass by that way, you'll see their advertisement in the window.

Yes i've seen the place in darlington but not heard if they are good or bad

Will pop in at the weekend and get a price

Not sure about tinting the rear window now if it might end up looking naff
