I had my windscreen replaced when I had my LS (94 model) I was working in Newbury So the insurance arranged Autoglas for next day. Only thing I was asked was which colour tint I wanted. I just stuck to the original. Did a good job. He was shocked at the price of them though over £700 So my £50 excess was well worth it.

Make sure they don't chip the paint around the screen. Someone had done that on my old GS, water gets under it and you'll get rust bubbles.

Had a new windshield fitted by Autoglass a few weeks ago. No dramas or problems, although I volunteered to take it there rather than them attempt the job on my driveway on a rainy day. I had about a 2-hour wait; I believe that this was partly due to the time taken for the adhesive to cure. As far as I know there are no leaks - so far anyway!

Cost me the £50 excess.

Good luck!
