Lexus Masterkey (1998)

Was looking to buy a spare key for my 1998 GS300 SE - II from here.

However when reading the item spec etc. I noticed several functions that I did not know were available. This is a copy of the functions they list.

Key functions of the system include:

* lock/unlock all doors

* trunk lid release

* open power windows

* slide moonroof

All of these are pretty standard fare, but the following I cannot find any reference to?

* use "Car Finder"

* operate engine immobilizer

* trigger the panic alarm

* unlock driver’s door only

Does anyone know if these other functions are available on the GS300 and if so what are the key sequences etc.

The functions are CBEST options mate - do a search for CBEST on the site - I put a list on here a while back

I would like the Drivers door only option, does anyone know if this is available UK and if so what the cost for dealer to program for me?

If your dealer has the equipment - they should apply the setting for free - I'd suggest asking when you next have a service

Here is the list I got from Rodders earlier post for you. It is the American list tho, so not all options are available here in the UK.
