Hi

Just thought I would relate an experience I'm currently having with my local dealer. I'm due to pick up my RX300 LE next Monday, in the interim I have received a letter from the centre manager notifying me on the current special offer which is a 23" flat screen lcd television for every car delivered before 11th Nov. I've enquired about this today and received a message saying it's for new customers only!!! (sounds a bit like that bank advert on TV!!!!). I've no doubt if I waved the letter under the trades & descriptions people I would get some interest, but then again I do have to service my vehicle for the next couple of years!!

Any comments/advice?

Id play like hell with them. Give Trading Standards a call and see what they say. Also ask the dealer what constitutes as a new customer?

Don't get much newer than waiting for your purchase!!! Id be peaved off to, good luck.

If the dealer didn't want to give me the TV I would try everything possible to cancel the order, obviously recieving a full deposit refund.

Does it say anywhere the deposit isn't refundable??
