Juddering In First Gear

I have a T reg (99) IS 200 with 74k on the clock and it judders when i pull away in first gear and can somethimes be difficult to get into gear.

Is this a common problem?

Does this mean i need to repalce my clutch?

If so does anyone know any good garages in North London / Hertfordshire?

Hi it seems that most IS200's do it,especially on low revs,give it some more revs for a smoother blast-off B)

Hi it seems that most IS200's do it,especially on low revs,give it some more revs for a smoother blast-off B)

I've found this "juddering" to be quite annoying when in stop-and-go traffic downtown.

An easy remedy is to activate the SNOW function which smooths the throttle real nice.

ive got 2001 on a y plate i had the same problem ,i had to have a new clutch fitted got it done at lexus newcastle cost me 500 big ones .£189 supply only ,don't let any one con you in to new flywheel co's thay are £600 on there own mine drives like new now good lock
