Stone Chipped Headlight Gs300 Mk1

Recommended Posts

I need to replace a headlight for my GS300 Mk1 to pass its MOT. Am I right that I have to buy the whole unit, frame and all?

And anyone know the best source, and how much Gold Member discount I could get?

Cheers!

Ian

Hi

Had same problem best to replace whole unit cost me £140+vat from Lexus (Chris Shipley at Lexus Hanley)

Some people on here have replaced just the glass but you need to find a good scrap lens, debond with heat and remove broken lens the refit your replacement by rebonding, can be done but messy.

Have a look on eBay, there are a couple of breakers breaking GS's at the moment, a good second hand unit is also a viable alternative.

Cheers Keith,

Just had look on eBay and got in touch with a Mk1 breaker.

Hope he's got what I need!
